Bella Coola is one of the only places on the coast of British Columbia where you can drive directly from the interior without taking a ferry. The route, known as Highway 20, includes a dramatic descent known as “The Hill” a steep, narrow, and winding gravel section. It’s known for its sharp switchbacks, lack of guardrails, and stunning views making it both a scenic and adventurous drive!

The Bella Coola Valley is also known as a hotspot for wildlife conflict, but many studies show that with the right strategies, sharing the landscape with wildlife is possible. We work to support co-existence by providing humane, conservation-minded solutions like electric fencing.
