The Margo Avian Alarm – Two Speaker Sonic Bird Deterrent is a Margo Original product. This Audio-deterrent device uses a combination of both the distress calls of regional-specific birds and calls from predatory birds. The Avian Alarm uses sounds from 40 species depending on the target ecosystem which can easily be adjusted using a knob on the control device.

Birds react to alarm and warning calls of the same or similar species, causing a distress response. Additional biologically relevant predator calls strengthen the scare effect. Social birds including crows, blackbirds, and many gull species will initially swarm the Avian Alarm, looking for the cause of the alarm calls – use this opportunity to add additional scare effects like pyrotechnics. After failing to find the source of the alarm calls, social birds become unsettled, believing the predator is still active.

Choose between one of 14 specifically curated ecosystems to target:

The Alarm has a variety of mounting options including:

  • Secured with two screws on a wall
  • On an existing fence system or post (fits 1/2″ – 1″ conduit /pipe)
  • Two Zip Tie configuration

Fix your bird problem today with the Margo Avian Alarm Sonic Bird Deterrent.
